سورة الفاتحة
1. بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Explanation: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Synonym: Allah (God), Ar-Rahman (The Beneficent), Ar-Rahim (The Merciful).
Tafsir: The phrase "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful" is a declaration of intent and commitment to perform actions in accordance with Allah's will.
2. الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Explanation: All praise is due to Allah, Lord of all the worlds.
Synonym: Alhamdulillah (All praise is due to Allah), Rabb (Lord).
Tafsir: This verse emphasizes the belief that all praise and thanks are to be given to Allah, who is the sustainer and lord of all that exists.
3. الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Explanation: The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Synonym: Ar-Rahman (The Beneficent), Ar-Rahim (The Merciful).
Tafsir: These names of Allah emphasize His infinite mercy and compassion towards all creation.
4. مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
Explanation: Master of the Day of Judgment.
Synonym: Malik (Master), Yawm (Day), Ad-Din (Judgment).
Tafsir: This verse acknowledges Allah as the sovereign authority on the Day of Judgment, highlighting His ultimate power and justice.
5. إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
Explanation: You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help.
Synonym: Nasta'in (We seek help), Iyyaka (You alone).
Tafsir: This verse declares total submission and reliance on Allah, recognizing Him as the only one worthy of worship and the sole source of support.
6. اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
Explanation: Guide us on the Straight Path.
Synonym: Sirat (Path), Mustaqim (Straight).
Tafsir: This verse is a prayer for guidance, asking Allah to lead the believers on the righteous and clear path that leads to His pleasure and away from deviation.
7. صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ
Explanation: The path of those You have blessed, not those who have earned Your anger, nor those who have gone astray.
Synonym: Sirat (Path), An'amta (You have blessed), Maghdub (Anger), Dallin (Astray).
Tafsir: This verse differentiates between those who follow the guidance of Allah and those who deviate. It seeks to follow the path of the righteous, avoiding the paths of those who have incurred Allah's wrath or who have lost their way.
